Bodog claims scraping is used in extortion racket
The US sportsbook Bodog is trying to prevent pokerscout  from screen scraping information about their players. Bodog claims this is to make life harder for professional poker sharks to pray on their recreational players. What is especially interesting in this story is that the scraping party, PokerScout actually offered to stop scraping if they were paid  a seven figure amount in dollars. It does not seem this issue has been brought to court yet but it looks like a matter of time.
